Personality: Myron is one of those people who really surprises you. He doesn’t come across as your typical Ravenclaw, but he’s smart, opinionated, and always has something to contribute in class, though it’s usually not all that helpful. He has a very good sense of humor, and would rather make his classmates laugh than please his teachers. Who cares what adults think? Peer approval is all he really needs.

That said, he also doesn’t go out of his way to force people to like him either, and if someone doesn’t like him, it’s no skin off of his teeth, and if you ask him, he’ll respond with something like “Oh, go tell so and so to get their bloody head out of their arse.” And then probably light up a cigarette.

Myron is not overtly social, he just seems to mesh well with all types of people, and is very adaptable to situations. He has a serious problem with authority, and never, ever wants to be like his parents, who he finds incredibly boring, and small minded.

Really, he’s just a very subtle anarchist. He likes to push people’s buttons to get them to react, and he likes to know how things tick. He’s one of those people who are just naturally smart and hardly ever study. Instead, he spends his time reading things like Abbie Hoffman’s Steal This Book and strange poetry written by people like John Lennon, and Alan Ginsberg.

So. Long, complicated story made short: Myron is lazy and indifferent, but smart and well rounded. He’s very anti-authority, but still, rather good with people.


History: Myron was born into a very odd situation indeed. His father was a muggleborn wizarding music producer, who, completely by accident, met his wife at a muggle music show. Funny thing was, she was also rather acquainted with the wizarding world, though not a witch herself. She was, in fact, a squib from a very prominent pureblood family, who basically let her run around and do whatever she pleased. She’d gone to a regular muggle school, with regular muggle kids, and then went off to become a music journalist for a muggle newspaper. The two instantly bonded over a mutual love of music and about ten months after their first meeting, Myron was born.

Myron was brought up around mostly muggle children, considering his parents believed he’d probably be a squib at best, so when he received his letter to Hogwarts they were astonished and excited for him. Myron was indifferent, as usual, but secretly, he was rather excited to get to go off and practice magic like his father.

He really could have cared less where he got sorted, as he hadn’t much prior knowledge of the houses, but his professors, upon meeting him, wondered if there’d been some sort of mistake, but there most certainly was not. After all, the Sorting Hat is never wrong.

Future: Eventually becomes the lead singer for the Weird Sisters.

Miscellaneous: Owns glasses, is supposed to wear them but… Doesn’t. Like John Lennon. He’s a very talented singer, and musician (both his parents are music related fields). He has a vast knowledge of both muggle and wizarding pop culture.
